Roadmap

What we're building

Major work in progress, what's next, and planned directions. We ship continuously and incorporate publisher feedback.

Overview

Allspice is built as a long-term platform for food publishers and creators. We ship continuously, and this roadmap highlights major work currently in progress and what’s coming next.

Timelines may shift as we prioritize reliability, performance, and publisher needs. If there’s a feature you want prioritized, reach out through the Publisher Portal - we actively incorporate your feedback into roadmap planning.

Now - In Progress

These initiatives are actively being built and may roll out incrementally.

Pico 3.5

Continued development of Pico with stronger agentic behavior, more reliable tool execution, improved context awareness, and better interactions across recipes, grocery lists, meal planning, and cooking workflows.

Memberships and paywalled recipe support

Giving publishers the ability to offer paid memberships, premium recipes, subscriber-only content, and recurring reader benefits directly through their sites.

Allspice Private Network

Building a premium, publisher-controlled version of Allspice with publisher-only branding, private content boundaries, multi-site support, and direct access to audience and intent data generated within the publisher’s environment.

Improved publisher control over Pico

Giving publishers greater control over how Pico responds, prioritizes content, recommends recipes, and represents their brand.

Recipe editing in the Publisher Portal

Allowing publishers to review, edit, and override parsed recipe information, including ingredients, instructions, timing, servings, images, and recipe structure.

Attributed Allspice subscription payouts

Completing the systems that attribute eligible Allspice subscription revenue to publisher partners and distribute the appropriate revenue share.

GDPR readiness

Finalizing consent, privacy, account-management, and data-handling infrastructure required for broader international availability.

Next

These are the next major initiatives after the current in-progress work ships.

Publisher groups and multi-site search

Enabling publishers with multiple domains, brands, or creator networks to provide search and discovery across a combined, approved recipe library.

Additional publisher data integrations

Providing eligible publishers with more ways to export or connect audience and intent data to their own analytics, marketing, CRM, and data infrastructure.

Planned

These initiatives are confirmed directions but are not yet scheduled for a specific release window.

Advanced audience insights

Expanding publisher analytics to surface aggregated trends across searches, saves, reader questions, meal plans, shopping activity, cooking behavior, preferences, and return visits.

Enhanced commerce flows

Expanding grocery and commerce integrations, improving attribution, and providing better conversion and revenue reporting.

Social creator pages

Creating hosted Allspice-powered pages where creators can publish searchable, interactive recipe libraries without operating a traditional recipe website.

Native advertising within Allspice

Supporting publisher-controlled advertising placements within appropriate Allspice experiences while preserving usability and compatibility with existing monetization systems.

Feedback & Requests

We build Allspice closely with publisher input. If you want to request a feature or prioritize an existing roadmap item, contact us through the Publisher Portal. The fastest way to influence roadmap priority is to share your use case (what you're trying to accomplish and how success is measured), not just a feature name.
