Overview
Allspice supports social-first creators by giving you a dedicated, hosted recipe experience that your audience can access from anywhere - no app required.
Your audience will be able to:
- search your recipe library
- save recipes
- build grocery lists
- plan meals
- use Cook Mode
- access Allspice's cooking tools directly from your creator page
Your creator page looks like:
myrecipes.allspice.co/<your-slug>
Example: myrecipes.allspice.co/bmg
This is ideal for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, newsletters, or any place where a single link needs to do everything.
Prerequisites
Before your creator page can go live, you'll need:
- An approved Allspice Publisher account
- A chosen creator slug (ex: bmg)
- At least one supported recipe source (blog URL OR social platform content)
- A public profile / public posts for supported recipe extraction (where applicable)
If you already have a blog with your recipes, onboarding is significantly faster.
Social Creator Options (With vs Without a Blog)
Social creators can work with Allspice in two main ways:
Option A - You have a blog (recommended)
If you already publish recipes on a blog or website, Allspice can treat you similarly to a traditional publisher.
This provides:
- the cleanest recipe extraction
- the most reliable updates
- the best long-term SEO and content ownership model
If you post recipes on social media and have a blog link for the full recipe, linking that blog post is the best way to maximize quality and consistency.
Option B - You don't have a blog
If you don't have a blog, Allspice can still build you a full experience by extracting recipes directly from supported social platforms.
This provides:
- a hosted recipe library
- searchable recipes
- Allspice cooking tools
- a link-in-bio destination you control
This is the best solution for creators who primarily publish recipes inside captions, comments, or video descriptions.
Setting Up Your Creator Page
Your Allspice creator page is a hosted, branded destination designed for conversion and utility.
It includes:
- your name / profile identity
- a searchable recipe library
- individual recipe pages
- Allspice functionality (saving, cooking tools, grocery lists, etc.)
Your page URL will be:
myrecipes.allspice.co/<your-slug>
Adding Recipes (Supported Platforms)
Allspice can populate your creator library from:
Blog sources
- your website / blog recipe URLs
- recipe posts with structured data (JSON-LD recommended)
Social sources (platform support varies)
Allspice is actively building social platform support. Availability may vary based on:
- the platform's public page structure
- authentication requirements
- post formats (reels vs posts vs carousels)
- whether the recipe is present in captions / descriptions
At minimum, we expect to support Instagram as an early social source for recipe extraction.
Social platform support is expanding, so if your audience is primarily on a platform not listed yet, reach out and we'll confirm current support.
Sharing Your Link (Bio / Captions / Stories)
Once your creator page is live, you can link it anywhere:
- Instagram bio
- TikTok bio
- YouTube description
- Story links
- Pinned comments
- Newsletter
- Website header
- Link-in-bio tools
Recommended CTA examples:
- "Search all my recipes here"
- "Save recipes + build grocery lists"
- "My full recipe library + shopping tools"
Your creator page is designed to replace messy "link lists" with a single destination that actually helps users cook.
How Users Experience Your Recipes
When someone opens your creator page, they can:
- search all of your recipes
- open any recipe instantly
- save recipes to Allspice
- organize them into cookbooks
- generate grocery lists
- use Cook Mode and step-by-step cooking features
Users can start without an account, but will eventually be prompted to create one to reliably save their data long-term.
Users do not need to download an app to use your creator page.
Monetization & Revenue Share
Social creators can participate in Allspice Revenue Share in the same general way as publishers.
Revenue opportunities include:
- subscription revenue share - when users upgrade to Allspice Premium
- grocery commerce revenue share - when users place delivery orders
Attribution is designed to be fair and proportional, based on:
- engagement and time spent with your content
- which recipes contribute to grocery list activity
The biggest driver of creator revenue is building a habit: the more your audience returns to your library to cook and shop, the more revenue you can earn over time.
Managing Recipes & Updates
Creators will be able to manage their Allspice presence over time, including:
- ensuring recipes import correctly
- improving recipe quality (where supported)
- expanding their searchable library
We are continuing to expand creator tooling inside the Publisher Portal.
If you have both social + blog recipes, prioritizing blog links will generally produce the most consistent long-term results.
Limitations & Notes
Because social platforms change frequently, social recipe extraction may have limitations depending on:
- platform layout changes
- private posts / private accounts
- missing structured recipe content
- content that lives only inside video/audio
- login requirements or restricted visibility
