Overview

A creator page is a hosted recipe library for creators who publish mainly on social media. Your audience can search your recipes, save them, build grocery lists, plan meals, and use Cook Mode, all from one link and without installing an app.

Creator pages use this address format:

myrecipes.allspice.co/<your-slug>

Example: myrecipes.allspice.co/bmg

Put it in your Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube bio, in your newsletter, or anywhere else you share one link.

Prerequisites

• An approved Allspice Publisher account
• A creator slug (for example, bmg)
• At least one recipe source: a blog, or public posts on a supported social platform

With or without a blog

If you have a blog (recommended)

Allspice reads your recipes from your blog, the same way it does for any publisher. Blog recipes give the most accurate extraction and the most reliable updates, and the content stays on a site you own. If your social posts link to a full recipe on your blog, link that post.

If you don't have a blog

Allspice extracts recipes from your posts on supported social platforms and hosts them in your library. This suits creators whose recipes live in captions, comments, or video descriptions.

A creator page includes:

• your name and profile
• a searchable recipe library
• a page for each recipe
• Allspice tools: saving, grocery lists, Cook Mode, and meal planning

Adding recipes

From a blog

Recipe posts on your site need schema.org Recipe JSON-LD. Allspice indexes posts that have it.

From social platforms

We expect Instagram to be one of the first supported sources. Whether a post can be extracted depends on:

• whether the post and account are public
• the post format (reel, post, or carousel)
• whether the recipe is written in the caption or description

If your audience is mainly on another platform, contact us to check current support.

Sharing your link

Once your page is live, link it from your Instagram or TikTok bio, YouTube descriptions, story links, pinned comments, your newsletter, your website header, or a link-in-bio tool.

Example calls to action:

• “Search all my recipes here”
• “Save recipes and build grocery lists”

What your audience can do

• search all your recipes
• save recipes and organize them into cookbooks

• cook step by step in Cook Mode

Readers can start without an account. To keep their saves long-term, they'll be asked to create one. There's no app to download.

Managing recipes

Creator tools in the Publisher Portal will cover checking that recipes imported correctly and adding to your library. If you have recipes on both social and a blog, link to the blog versions for the most consistent results.

Limitations

Social extraction can fail or miss recipes when:

• a platform changes its page layout
• the account or post is private or needs a login to view
• the recipe isn't written out and exists only in the video or audio
